Today we will discuss about the most frequently asked questions. Well, these are the questions we face everyday from the students among all these most frequently students ask is that
- What is the duration of the PTE Course at Amin Migration?
- If I start coaching from Amin Migration then how long will it take to me to complete the course to achieve my desire score?
- Additionally, during preparation how many hours should I study?
- From where should I study?
- How much practice and study do I need?
There are some students who even spend 9 hours in a day and still ask from where should I study more, on the other hand there are many who think 3 hours study is enough for me.
So, question arises in the mind of student that Is there any fixed schedule which I should follow and I get my desire score. Well the answer is “Yes”.
Fasten your seat belt as we are to discuss in details today in this. But before we start let me set the record straight that it is not possible to set the uniform schedule for everyone as requirement of each individual is different, also it depend where you begin from but once you finish reading this entire article, you will be able to set your schedule on your own.
Those who are reading this, one thing they should keep in their mind always that here at Amin Migration we aim that you use your full potential in a minimum time and achieve your desire score in a single attempt as here at Amin Migration we don’t believe in second attempt.
Let’s start with a system, which we call it “The AM System”, it is the system which has been very useful in the past for many students. The point of this system is that it has two major objectives.
- This system is designed by keeping in view that learning speed of every student is different, as sometimes teacher expects too much from the students and students can’t study that much, on the contrary side teacher teaching at slow speed and students are very fast to adopt the knowledge and if it’s so then ultimately, they get bored. So, this system puts an end to all these problems.
- Second objective of this system is the “satisfaction of each single day of coaching” which students should get throughout his/her academic journey with us.
You know the worst thing about PTE is that there is no syllabus, and where there is no syllabus it becomes more difficult for the students to decide that how should they prepare for the exam, what should they study, how many hours are enough to study, whatever I’m studying whether it is authenticated or not, etc. Let me give you an example of your 12th Standard or Graduation exam, like it had predefined syllabus unlike PTE and If I know the exact syllabus, it becomes very easy for me to plan out my schedule. But this thing is impossible to apply in PTE because it has no chapters to complete like we used to do in our school or college and just because of this PTE becomes challenging but the system we follow at Amin Migration will make things easier for you to follow.
So, whether you are from beginner level or advanced level or you have taken coaching already from somewhere else then make sure you keep this pedagogy of Amin Migration in your mind.
Let’s understand the system we follow

At Amin Migration students are supposed to pass through all the above stages which gives them guarantee to achieve their desire score. Now, next question arises is that Time Duration that How long will it take to reach advance level if student is beginner, so the answer is straight forward – Note down 45 Days.
First and foremost, you being the student have to understand that here at Amin Migration we will never work on single phase but on two phases simultaneously.
For example, when you’re enrolling with us you will start from Learning Phase along with Implementation Phase, called Stage – 1
After few days along with Implementation you will do Testing Phase as well, called Stage – 2
And once you book your exam, 5 to 7 days prior from the date of your exam you will be working only on Testing Phase, called Stage – 3.

Ultimately, it will take minimum 45 days to maximum 60 days not more than that and if it is taking more than 60 days means whether you do not know the system or making serious mistakes somewhere and not rectifying it.
If you meet our students, may-be they do not know about this system by its name but they’re following the system at Amin Migration every day.
So, after reading this, when you enter next into Amin Migration, you don’t need to ask the teacher as you know the name as well as you know exactly how your teaching journey going to be with us.
Let’s dive to explore things in more details.
- Learning means – to learn something new
- Implementation means – application of learning in a right way
- Testing means – to test of your proficient ability
In Learning Phase:
- Main Class
- You should know the pattern of the exam
- Time Duration of each question types as per latest amendments
- Weightage of every question
- Distribution of Marks & their contribution in respective modules.
- All the Structures and its method to use.
- Rules for every topic to answer perfectly.
If you do not know all these basic things means you are in learning phase only.
Many students keep giving attempts and not getting their desire score, the reason behind is that they do not know in which Phase of learning they are and if you’re in learning phase and still book your exam then rest assured you will fail for sure.
Most Important, You must know your score requirement before anything else that how much score is needed to proceed your file to get your Visa & if you want perfect advice regarding your exact requirement then discuss your profile with our counsellor at Amin Migration because if you do not know about your file requirement and you start preparing for PTE then believe us you are wondering without any aim. It is like diving into ocean without knowing the direction and it will get you nowhere. So, you must know your direction first.
If you know all the things mentioned above means you have completed your Learning Phase.
But if you remember we have stated above that we’re to follow two phases simultaneously so along with Learning Phase, you are bound to do Implementation Phase as well. So, let’s discuss about Implementation Phase now.
- Implementation Phase includes,
- Offline Practice:
- TRC Class
- Reading Offline Test with Teacher
- One to One Speaking
- Online Practice
- Practice in LAB on Amin Migration Portal
After reading this, you’d ask that how many hours in a day should I study?
The Answer is when you combine Learning + Implementation Phase and being an average student who is at Phase -1 then 5 to 6 hours of study in a day is more than enough including Lectures, Practice and LAB session and if you are spending more than 6 hours behind PTE in a day then believe me it’s a pure waste of time.
Having heard this, those who are studying more than 6 hours will become very happy. On the other side of the world those who are giving 2-3 hours will become sad, right?
Above all, you must keep the dream in your mind you have seen to go abroad and the life style your family having now and will be having after your success will be poles apart. You will bring change in the life style of your upcoming generations as well. So, if you’re really serious and want to make such difference then you will have to give 5-6 hours in a day for PTE.
Next question, you’d ask that Ok, I am ready to give 5 to 6 hours in a day but what should be the ideal schedule? In that case at Amin Migration you’re to follow your 5 to 6 hours in a following way.

Once Main Batch is over, Time to Move on Stage – 2 means Implementation + Testing Phase.
Keep one thing in mind that, you will not give any Full-Length Test until your Main Batch gets over but only Sectional Tests.
The reason behind not to give FLT before Main batch gets over is that if your ability is of 79+, and you give FLT without complete preparation and your score comes let’s say 58, then subconsciously you will aim for 65+ when you could have scored easily 79+ as per your ability. That is why at Amin Migration we allow FLT only after the Main Class till then Sectional Test is recommended.
Now the moment students start giving FLT, they enter into Testing Phase.
So, after giving on FLT let’s say on Saturday, Students are going to consult teacher individually on Monday for assessment and the teacher will address only two major mistakes. The reason behind to address two mistakes only is that suppose if students are addressed eight mistakes then they will feel like to quite PTE and two major mistakes are easier to improve at a time, and after consultation with teacher students will work whole day on those two mistakes only.
Suppose a student is being told that in Describe Image he/she speaks fast and in Repeat Sentence Content is less then student will work on these two mistakes only to overcome.
On Tuesday again, He / She will attempt another FLT and same way on next day, i.e.: Wednesday assessment with teacher, this time teacher will address another two major mistakes and student will work whole day on those mistakes and give another FLT on Thursday and will follow the same.
So, technically student will give 3 FLT in a week, means 6 Mistakes will be corrected, but if there are 12-18 or more mistakes means,
- Student hasn’t focused well in Phase – 1, or;
- Student has missed classes, or;
- Student has missed practice in LAB, or;
- Student was not studying 6 hours.
If student had followed everything then we can say 100% with surety that there will be no mistake more than 4 to 5.
If there’s no mistake then ask teacher that Is it possible to score 79+ and if teacher says “Yes” then you can book your exam without any ifs and buts.
This is how things work at Amin Migration. We have seen students who have been doing PTE for more than 3-Months and giving number of attempts repeatedly, yet don’t find any improvements means they do not know how to improvise themselves.
Additionally, after reading this many of you will be feeling like we will start this way from tomorrow itself but believe us as we have seen many students within first 5 days they give up from studying.
Well, 6 hours in a day on regular basis daily is not everyone’s cup of tea.
Remember if you give FLT and making same mistakes again and again in every FLT then there is a problem in your Phase – 1, so it is recommended to attend the classes again of that topic and do the practice again in a same way.
Now let’s assume that students have completed Stage – 2 as well and enter into Stage – 3 where students book the test first after 5-7 days and during those 5-7 days students will give 2 FLT in a day means Total 10-14 FLT in a week. On the other hand, what many students do is that after completing the coaching they book the test after many days and as a result, their mind goes into comfort zone and their whole practice goes in vein. So, students are advices not to put their mind in a comfort zone since they’re at pick point of their rigorous practice, students shall book the test.
Well, it is the fully proof-tested method that whoever has followed have achieved their desire score.
You have to test that how long can you follow this method and if you do then you are bound to get your desire score for sure and last but not least, if you do get your desire score, do not forget to bring sweet box at Amin Migration.
